Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g ground beef
  • 200g spaghetti
  • 6 crusty white rolls
  • 240ml beef stock
  • 500g tomato passata
  • 100g butter
  • 200g mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh garlic and herbs

Instructions

  1. In a heavy-bottomed skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion until golden, then add minced garlic and ground beef, cooking until browned.
  2. Stir in tomato puree, red apple vinegar, beef stock, tomato passata, herbs, and sugar. Let simmer for about 25 minutes until thickened.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). While the sauce simmers, prepare the bread bowls by hollowing out rolls and brushing them with a mixture of melted butter, garlic paste, parsley, and parmesan.
  4. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente; combine with the sauce.
  5. Fill each bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture, top with shredded mozzarella, and bake on a baking sheet for 8-10 minutes until golden.
