  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup melted butter for coating
  • 1/2 cup sugar for coating
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer/oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar. Add the egg, vanilla, buttermilk, and pumpkin puree; mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  4. Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Scoop small balls of dough (about one inch) onto a parchment-lined sheet.
  6. Bake in the air fryer for about 6 minutes or in the oven for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Roll warm donut holes in a mixture of melted butter and cinnamon sugar.
