  • Yukon Gold potatoes
  • Heavy cream
  • Butter
  • Fresh rosemary (or thyme/sage)
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic Base
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle some parmesan cheese on the bottom.
  3. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream, butter, herbs, salt, black pepper, and roasted garlic base. Stir until the mixture is warm; then mix in most of the grated parmesan cheese.
  4. Thinly slice the Yukon Gold potatoes using a mandoline slicer and layer them in the baking dish in a fanned pattern.
  5. Pour the infused cream mixture evenly over the layered potatoes and cover with greased aluminum foil.
  6. Bake covered for 45 minutes; then uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes until tender.
  7. If desired, broil for about 4 minutes to achieve a golden crust.
