  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss sliced apples with maple syrup, brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch until evenly coated. Spread the mixture in the baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, combine rolled oats, all-purpose flour, chopped pecans, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter and maple syrup until crumbly. Sprinkle this topping over the apples.
