  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  4. In another bowl, blend the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy. Spread over the batter in the pan.
  5. Spoon the remaining batter over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Combine cocoa powder and milk in a separate bowl; drizzle over the top of the batter and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool completely before slicing and serving.
