  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by mixing warm water and yeast in a small bowl; let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Stir in the activated yeast mixture and olive oil until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Sauté the minced garlic in melted butter over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Roll out the risen dough on parchment paper to your desired shape; brush with garlic butter.
  7. Bake on a baking sheet for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
