  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • For the cinnamon swirl: ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt pan well.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually mix the dry ingredients with the butter mixture, alternating with sour cream until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the Bundt pan. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle half over the batter. Layer remaining batter and top with remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture, swirling gently.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
