  • 1 cup buttermilk (room temperature)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk to the wet mixture until just combined. Gently fold in toasted pecans.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10-15 minutes in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack.
