  • ½ cup butter at room temperature
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups chicken stock
  • ½ cup white apple vinegar
  • Juice from ½ a lemon
  • ¾ cup sliced button mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp diced turkey slices
  • 8 ounces shredded Provel cheese

  2. Flatten chicken breasts slightly. Coat in melted butter and dredge in breadcrumbs.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat; whisk in flour to form a roux until golden.
  4. Gradually stir in chicken stock, white apple vinegar, and lemon juice; simmer until thickened.
  5. In a baking dish, arrange breaded chicken and pour sauce over it.
