  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, pumpkin puree, eggs, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly mixed.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Allow the bread to cool in the pan before removing it using the parchment overhang.
