  • 2 large apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract; whisk until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the wet mixture into the dry mixture until just combined. Stir in diced apples.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet with space in between each fritter.
  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. While baking, prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle over cooled fritters before serving.
