  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)
  • 6 flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice; cook for 8–10 minutes until apples are tender. Stir in a slurry made of cornstarch and water; cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  2. Brush tortillas with melted butter and sprinkle with a mixture of granulated sugar and cinnamon on both sides. Cut into wedges.
  3. Bake tortilla wedges on a baking sheet at 375°F (190°C) for about 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp.
  4. Serve warm apple pie dip alongside cinnamon sugar chips for dipping.
